During recent weeks, our new(ish) parish priest has been attempting to bring parishoners to an awareness of our meagre giving...as an encouragement for us to give more... this weeks bulletin sheet reads ~
"Last Weekend;
Mass attendance 329 (for both Sat/ sun )
Average giving £2.27 per person."
I'm an at home mum with a relatively low income, but I give more than that, so I don't see why others who are far more affluent than I, can not see their way to doing so. Statistics like this that are so disheartening.
