Uh-Oh.

Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. At first I was horrified by the thought that the Easter Bunny may indeed be the one pulling the strings of our president. But on further inspection, the Easter Bunny seems to be making eyes – big hypnotic eyes! – at Laura Bush.
“Look deep into my (enormous) eyes, Laura! Come away with me, my pigeon dove!”

  2. “The Republic is under the control of the Dark Lords of the Sith . . . the White House itself is being manipulated by a Sith Lord called . . . Darth Lepus.”

  3. You know what they say… Behind every good man there’s a six foot dude in a bunny costume.

  4. Is the EB a Jesuit or a Mason or the Illuminati?

Mark, Mark, Mark . . . can’t you tell that he’s DaVinci Code’s albino Opus Dei monk?
I quote from my galley copy of The DaVinci Code/Easter Bunny Connection, due out soon from Ignatius by Olsen & Miesel: “As with the Balrog’s wings in LOTR, Brown’s description of his albino monk character is rather vague. But we believe his cryptic reference to a “shadow of that spread out from his head like large ears; more hare than hair” (DVC, page 96) closes the deal for us. Rumors that ears were to be digitally added to the Ron Howard adaption of Brown’s book proved false however. But we have printed in this book for the first time actual film pre-production artist’s renderings of the monk with rabbit-like ears (see fig. 14).”

  6. But Gene, the EB’s very classy orange-and-blue sports coat he’s wearing doesn’t jive with the gray habit described in the book…
Personally, I would go with a Masonic used car salesman.
