There Ain’t Anything You Can’t Fix With Duct Tape!

That’s what they say back home in the South.

And it seems true elsewhere, too. When I was in Rome recently I saw a parked car that had its driver’s side rear view mirror reattached with duct tape.

But it seems there are interesting things you can fix with salad dressing, too.

Like precious works of art.

GET THE STORY.

P.S.: Tim J! This could be what happens to your stuff in a couple hundred years!

Or maybe future folks will just take off the grime with duct tape.

You know what they say!

P.P.S.: My favorite kind  of duct tape is the kind that has the cute little ducks printed right on it.

"There Ain't Anything You Can't Fix With Duct Tape!"
Except duct tape....

I have it on very good authority from a friend who is an art custodian that in certain circumstances spit (ok, saliva) is the best thing for cleaning up a work of art. But some people are too fastidious to use their own, so it is available in artificial form. Yum.

"If it ain't broke, you're not trying".
"I am a man, but I can change... if I have to... I guess."

Mr. Benziger,
I think bill912 sufficiently expressed my very sentiments here.

To the above "reply" to Esau'a question, I can only say: "Huh?"

Mr. Esau,

Duct tape is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Two of my kids are getting confirmed next week. I'll have to tell them... :-)

For 5 years my truck passed its safety inspections because I used duct tape to keep the signal lights attached to the bumper (which for all sakes and purposes was completely rusted out - Life in Hawai`i = wet, rusty, moldy, but what the hay!)Four rolls of duct tape actually provided form and shape to the "bumper" and this allowed me to attach it - with more duct tape - to the truck. Sold that bugga 3 years ago, and it's still on the road. The new owner has kept up the duct tape! Duct tape is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Jimmy, are you sure from Texas? Everyone knows that you can fix anything with duct tape AND Baling Wire!! OK, I'm from KS, but baling wire is also required for complete fix-it-up-ness.

Jimmy,
My favorite kind of duct tape is the kind that has the cute little ducks printed right on it.
And you didn't provide an image or a link? Prey tell, where can I find this mythical duct tape with cute little ducks printed right on it? :-P

Marie, you're so close-minded!

My favorite kind of duct tape is the transparent kind. It's wonderful for fixing board books (for toddlers).
I wouldn't recommend making a prom dress out of it, though.
Marie

If it moves and it's not supposed to... use Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to... use WD-40.

Sir,
The Motu Proprio will be published near future, according to His Eminence Cardinal Tarciso Bertrone on 8th.
Mr. Benziger,
I certainly appreciate the respect and formalities, but what does the MP have to do with Salad Dressing and Duct Tape???
