Combox Critique Roundup at Old World Swine

I just wanted to thank everyone who came by my blog, Old World Swine, to participate in may first ever "Combox Crit" (this is when I put up a piece of art for critique on my blog).

The project was a rousing success. I have posted a summary of my thoughts on the painting and the comments I received. I will definitely do this again soon.

Again… thanks!

  1. Good synthesis of comments, Tim.
…I have this image of the bidding parlor at Sothbey’s, about 300 years from now. The auctioner says: “And now ladies and gentleman, our last object this evening, item no. 24, the American realist Timothy Jones’ Immaculate Heart, or as many of you know her, the “Parish Madonna”, oil on wood, early 21st century. We will start the bidding at five million five hundred thousand Euros. Do I have–thank you very much. sir. I have five million five hundred thousand do I have–I have six million, I have six million five, thank you, do I have…” etc. etc.
