Thinking about Buying a Car?

Maybe you should. . . . Before it's too late.

That has got to be the funniest thing I have seen in months. Thanks for sharing Jimmy.

Personally, I'm thinking of getting a horse. One end of it reminds me of our politicians.

This was made in December 2008. Given what's happened since then it seems positively prescient.

...And now one of the few repubs with guts is quitting. I can here the self-blinded pro-aborts shrieking with..."joy" is too nice a word.

Mr Aiken,
Incredible ability to articulate the faith from all kinds of impromptu positions, wonderful and inspiring.
But your new host's jokey insistence on using fake accents (Australian, Ulster, exaggerated 'Canadian') is getting pretty tedious. Also, given the number of combat deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq right now, his inane allusions to machine guns and grenades are pretty inappropriate.

Maybe he's talking about Catholic Answers Live, bill.
Still, ya know... lighten up, maybe.

Long noses?
Seriously, walking is a very under appreciated habit. More saints have walked in history than used any other mode of transportation and I expect that trend to last until the end of time. There is something both freeing and humbling about walking. Jogging can cause shin splints and bone fractures. Aerobics usually requires specialized clothes and dedicated time. Both make it very difficult to do any subtle thinking. Walking is different. Like conversation, it is a neglected activity in modern society. In fact, taking walks with a friend/spouse is one of the cheapest pleasures and best way to build relationships I know of.
Cars? Who builds friendships in cars? One may build friendships through an appreciation of cars, but that is like any hobby.
Don't buy a new car. Buy a new pair of comfortable shoes and get out there and walk and talk and live longer.

Tim J,
Siobhan is a girl's name. (Pronounced Shi-vonn.)
God Bless You,
By the way, the video was funny! :-D

Thanks, Dr. E., I wasn't really paying attention.

When we went to Ireland, one of our stewardesses was named Siobhan. That's how I knew that. I don't speak Gaelic or Latin or Quenya or any other language like a Catholic geek should.
(I do speak bad Mandarin Chinese, poor French and Dora-fied Spanish!)

Iowahawk truly is the master. And this is one of his best.
For those not familiar with his work, his takedown of Rowan Williams - "Heere Bigynneth the Tale of the Asse-Hatte: An Archbishop of Canterbury Tale" - is not to be missed: http://iowahawk.typepad.com/iowahawk/2008/02/heere-bigynneth.html
