Babylon Is Fallen!

Dore And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Or . . . perhaps in this case I ought to say "Sodom is risen" rather than "Babylon is fallen."

Either way.

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. 1. Now what about physician assisted suicide with three states directly allowing it? (Texas doesn’t count since its passive.) Creepy to see the pattern.

  2. They can pass a law declaring a Hampshire to be a Shetland, but that pig ain’t ever gonna be a pony.

  3. Resistance is futile. The sextremists will shove SSM down the throats of Americans.
Thank you contracepting couples. The sextremists could never have done it without you.

You know, upon first blush, the position of the Church on the morality of contraception not withstanding, this sounded like an extreme comment at first.
But on thinking on it, it isn’t. Once sex was separated from one of the aspects of it’s biological nature, i.e., for reproduction, and became for “fun”, the door was opened to anything, wasn’t it?

  5. I wonder how many more states need to fall before they get bored with this and go for polygamy.

  6. With so many couples contracepting and aborting, and the birth rate in the US falling like a stone, the pedophiles are going to be starved out of existence.
It’s not a case of pedophilia becoming acceptable, but becoming impossible through a lack of supply.
