Why is the Kindle® edition 4 cents more than the paper edition?

But what about us libertarians who don’t recognize intellectual property. So where do we download it for free?
You wouldn’t step over us would you?

The cheap reader writes : “Why is the Kindle® edition 4 cents more than the paper edition?”
It’s a punishment for those who lack the aesthetic integrity to buy real paper books.

I downloaded it last night Jimmy. For Australians in saves postage but I would rather have the real book in my hands.

A Cheap Reader: Actually, the list price of the Kindle edition is five dollars cheaper than the list price of the paper version. Amazon is discounting the paper version but not the Kindle.
You’re still saving money, though, as there are no shipping costs for the Kindle version, and you get extra functionality not possible in a paper version (e.g., dictionary lookup, text search), as well as instant gratification.

You can “download” it at the public library.

Sorry Jimmy, Last week I went to download your book to Kindle for ipad but it wasn’t available so I downloaded Rod Bennett’s Four Witnesses. Now you have to wait your turn!

I am thrilled to have it on the Kindle. For my part you could charge more and I would still be more likely to purchase it on Kindle. The reason is I just don’t have room for more books on my shelf. For those who are curious as to why Kindle books sometimes cost more than paper it is because it is truly more convenient on Kindle than it is on paper. At least for those of us who love the Kindle :)
