What It’s Like In Rome

Never been to Rome?

Me either. Not yet, anyway.

But I’ve heard a lot about it from people who have been there. Sounds like one crazy kinda town.

I found an interesting write-up about what it’s like to visit Rome by Jim Geraghty of National Review’s Kerry Spot.

So why not . . .

TAKE A VIRTUAL LITERARY TRIP TO ROME.

Ciao!

Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. Jimmy,
It’s exactly as described – all the positives and the negatives and it is without doubt one of the great places on this planet.

  2. That was HILARIOUS! Thanks for the laugh.
I can’t wait to visit one day. *chuckle*
